The transition from the close of one year to entrance of a new one warrants retrospection, and as we look back on the past 6 months in particular weve seen a lot of changes here in CFW. In the summer, we hosted our first Strategic Forum where we announced our year of Re-Imagining CFW launching a host of new & evolved initiatives to better equip, connect, and mobilize towards the flourishing of the City. Since then, weve experimented with City Rhythms, #NYCurrents, EI Case Studies, Artist-in-Residence program, and in January well be launching 5 new 3-month Vocational Intensives.

Since its inception, CFW has functioned like an R&D lab, and this year in particular the possibilities for innovation are exciting as we consider how to serve you and the City more effectively. While we're very much still in the thick of things, weve been learning so much about you (the CFW community), ourselves and the City, and were eager to continue engaging your feedback and involvement. Thank you all for the encouragement we have received. May we learn together how to engage this city that God loves through our faith & our work.

Merry Christmas,
