Dear {first},

When we think of the church, it's important to distinguish between the church gathered and the church scattered.  On Sundays, Christians gather as the institutional church to worship together.  This is what most people think about when they think of the church; however, there is also another aspect of the church which is the church scattered.  This is the people of God entering into all spheres of life throughout the week, reflecting their spiritual identity in nuanced and diverse expressions.

Here at CFW, one way of understanding our work is equipping, connecting, and mobilizing the scattered church throughout NYC and the world.  Our hope is that this ministry will remind you that being the church is much more than where you go on Sunday morning, but it is about a deeper identity and purpose guiding you throughout the week.

May God's will be done in & through your work,

David, Amilee, Kenyon, Calvin, Scott, & Chris
