Scott Calgaro
Events & Expanding Initiatives Manager

Scott officially joined our team in January after partnering with CFW on a contract basis for the past six months, actively contributing to the shaping and direction of the Gospel & Culture Conference. Scott brings 15+ years of experience working in this area of intersection between faith & work, having served initiatives focused both at the college and professional levels. He will serve as the liaison between CFW and its external partners and manage the strategic planning for CFW events while coordinating and curating content for CFW initiatives.

Although Scott was raised in Pittsburgh, he's been a Brooklynite since 2011. As a current Gotham Fellow, Scott spends a lot of time
reading and drinking tea at The Coffee Foundry, which was founded in 2012 by one of his co-Fellows. Scott lives with his wife, Deahna, and their two cats, Sydney & Nadiya, in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

When Christ directs us to pray for God's will to be done "on earth as it is in heaven", how do we know what heaven looks like? When Paul commands us to "fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen," how do we develop that kind of sight? And what does this mean for our work in the here & now?

We're excited this month to release Roberta Ahmanson's talk from the Gospel & Culture Conference as she inspires us to reclaim true prophetic vision of the city whose builder & architect is God as we go about our work here in this earthly city. Also this month, CFW welcomes Scott Calgaro to our team - a long time co-laborer in the area of faith & work.

May God's will be done in & through your work,

David, Amilee, Kenyon, Calvin, Scott, & Chris
