EXPERIENCE

FAITH & WORK CONFERENCE:
FORMED TO WORK FOR THE GLORY OF GOD
APRIL 13-14

We live in a city that’s driven by ambition and desperate for rest. But the gospel responds with a groundbreaking question: to what end? The gospel uniquely gives us a radical new vision that our work is for the glory of God: the issue is not that we expect too much from our work, but that we have come to expect too little. Join us for this two-day event which is part of Redeemer's Formation Conference Series! Explore how the gospel gives us a radical new vision: the issue is not that we expect too much from our work, it’s that we expect too little. Speakers will include Tim Keller, Katherine Leary Alsdorf, David H. Kim, and Elizabeth Barlow Rogers (Founder, Central Park Conservancy), as well as over 20 Glimpse opportunities throughout NYC centered around work, culture and sabbath. Livestream access of the conference weekend available for purchase HEREMore>

FAITH & WORK CLASS: BEGINS APRIL 17

"I had never connected my work to God's purposes so although very challenging, the class has helped provide a reframing of work and how I should be thinking of that and identity and purpose."

How does your faith connect in the day-to-day with your work life? This introductory level cross-vocational course will focus on six different Bible passages from which we will gain insight concerning God's intention for our work. We will be weaving spiritual practices, daily devotionals, and group discussion together in community. Held Tuesday nights beginning April 17. More>

A THEOLOGY OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS WORKSHOP

APRIL 25

This workshop is designed to inspire both artists and non-artists to re-examine their work and seek out ways to become more creative. In particular, we will brainstorm about the way that all of our work can fulfill God’s creational mandate following Christ’s example with the help of the Holy Spirit. Led by Kyle Werner. Dinner will be served at this event. More>
