Center for Faith and Work
JAN. 30, 2019

Dear {first},

Is your work working? Does it matter to God? Are you living out of gospel truth and grace in your particular vocation, industry or workplace? At Redeemer, we understand that we are still the church as we are scattered out into our various jobs throughout the week, and we want to better equip you for that calling. CFW’s Gotham Fellowship will do just that.

The Gotham Fellowship, now in its 11th year, is a pioneering, intensive, community-based learning experience that will help you connect God’s purposes for your work and develop the spiritual and theological foundations to empower your work. It’s a seminary-level education in public theology for those who don’t have the luxury of leaving their jobs to go to seminary. It’s a leader development program that helps you experience the power of the gospel to transform your heart and relationships. And like many Executive Education programs, part of the value is the shared commitment within the learning community to weekly reading and deep, thoughtful discussions. The Gotham Alumni community, now more than 350 people strong at Redeemer and in other churches in the city, are happy to share the importance of this experience to their spiritual growth and sense of calling and purpose.

If you have at least two years of work experience, we hope you will consider applying. Applications for the 2019-2020 Gotham class are now open here until April 30.

Sincerely,

Katherine L Alsdorf, Interim Executive Director, Center for Faith & Work
