Center for Faith and Work
MAR. 1, 2019

Dear {first},

Since its founding, Redeemer’s vision to love and serve the city has involved serving God through and in our work in the world. CFW has fueled that mission through many innovative and spiritually-enriching programs over the years. Now, as a family of churches, the DNA of Redeemer’s Center for Faith & Work is being replicated in each church. Under the wise leadership of Scott Calgaro, CFW’s Program Director, CFW is training, resourcing, and guiding the collaborative expansion of our church-based expressions of faith and work ministry, as well as organizing a variety of centralized programs to serve the whole.

Scott has been part of CFW since 2012, and worked in the area of faith and work integration and equipping with CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) over 12 years during which he led the Jubilee Conference and launched Jubilee Professional, an annual gathering for several hundred working professionals focused on applying biblical truth to work.

His team includes Laura Rogers (Communications & Content Manager) and Eunice Shin-Lai (Gotham Fellowship Coordinator), as well as Cory Maxwell-Coghlan (Content & Training Associate), Esther Schissler (Manager, Faith & Work Leadership Development & Training) and Jon Seale (Event Producer). You may read more about this team here.

Furthermore, each of the Redeemer churches have dedicated leadership to their own expressions of CFW: Milla Nieminen (West Side), Mark Ro (East Side), David Plant (Downtown), and Chuck Armstrong (LSQ). They will be coordinating the Gotham Fellowship cohorts in their congregations, as well as classes and other opportunities to grow - theologically, spiritually and relationally - in ways that help us be more faithful Christ-followers in every aspect of our work.

As this expanded CFW team, we look forward to getting to know you and learning about your own sense of calling in your work.

In Him,

Katherine Leary Alsdorf, Interim Executive Director, Center for Faith & Work
