The nearing transition from one year to the next warrants retrospection here at CFW. Over a year ago, we decided to focus on the importance of imagination and innovation, and we have already seen the fruit of this intention. Our recent November conference, Making All Things New, was an amazing time exploring this theme alongside 750 presenters and attendees. We have also worked to cultivate the imaginations of those in our church and city with our Faith & Work Arts Celebration, a weekend of celebratory arts programming featuring CFW artists, and our continuation of the Artist-In-Residence program. We have also continued working to deepen vocation-specific Faith & Work integration through our 6-8 week Vocational Courses and our 3-month Vocational Intensives. We look forward to the new year where we will be launching a new brand identity for CFW and new programming for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Planning for this year, we were keenly aware of the limitations of hard work and intention. We also needed to be attuned to how the Spirit would shape and lead us. To that end, we made prayer a key priority this ministry year with two new programs, including Faith & Work Prayer Nights and our online Faith & Work Prayer Journey, to emphasize the necessity and integration of prayer in our work lives. We have already seen the power and privilege there is in prayer and we hope you will continue to join us as we learn together how to love this great city. Merry Christmas,
Executive Director, Center for Faith & Work
