A 50/50 Industry

“There is neither male nor female for we are one in Christ.” -Galatians 3:28

With the Art Director’s club recent call for 50/50 representation of both men and women on boards, juries, and panels I can’t help but see God’s hand at work through common grace. This initiative aims to bring unity, openness and wholeness to the corporate sphere through the instrument of advertising. The industry has long been known for pride, divisive petty differences, and a lack of female leadership and voices outside of traditional female product sectors. The 50/50 call is a bold act of renewal, redeeming the culture from it’s foundation. We as believers need to engage and empower this movement towards unity and encourage more sector’s business and society to do the same.
