July 26 @ 9:00 AM - July 26 @ 6:00 PM
What does a healthy relationship with technology look like? How do we manipulate technology to meet our needs, without letting it manipulate us? What does "humane design" look like in tech?
Human After All: Humanistic Technology for a New Era, a daylong conference at Betaworks Studios, aims to answer these questions—and you're invited to attend.
When: Friday, July 26th | 9 am – 6 pm
Where: Betaworks Studios | 29 Little West 12th St., New York City⠀
Human After All, the latest installment of Betaworks' day-long conference, explores frontier technology and the impact technology has had on the world around us and on us as human beings. We’ll map out the landscape of Humane Tech and Mindtech, showcase the work of key practitioners and identify investment opportunities. We’ll be joined by American writer Douglas Rushkoff, with more speaker announcements coming soon.
On the conference agenda: Programming and experiences that explore what humane tech is, how we can plan for a better future, and who we can hold accountable for using machine learning, AI, and data in responsible, transparent, and humane ways.
