Join us at our next Writers Monthly meeting, on Tuesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. when Tricia Clarke will lead us in a workshop on Rahab. In this workshop, we will examine the story of “Rahab: An ‘Unlikely’ Woman of Faith.” Please click here to register by March 3 at 4 p.m. to ensure that you will be let into the building.
In this workshop, we will explore the implications of Rahab’s faith and its ramifications for our spiritual and literary lives. Our follow-up writing exercises will take the form of personal reflection and action planning that will impact your writing. You will be invited to apply these reflective exercises and action plans over the next month of your writing as a way to infuse your writing processes with fresh faith.
Afterwards, we’ll break into critique circles. Please bring 1 to 2 pages (double spaced) of original writing in any genre for feedback. We will conclude our fellowship with a special time to pray over our creative endeavors.
The Redeemer Writers Group is a mission-driven community of professional and aspiring writers of every genre who craft words so that they might be light in a dark space, wildflowers breaking through cracks in the pavement, water to thirsty souls. Founded by the Center for Faith & Work to seek the flourishing of New York City, the group has been meeting monthly for over a decade seeking Spirit-filled and Spirit-led community, feedback on their works-in-progress, and resources to support their professional pursuits.
