SEPTEMBER 
MEETING

Join us for CFW's Writers Group meeting on Wednesday, September 23 from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required.

For our Writers Group Fall 2020 Semester we're finding inspiration from the Spirit--specifically the Fruit of the Spirit. First up: Love. 

Want to write characters, real or imagined, who show transformative growth? Identify what they love and how that love deepens or changes over the course of their story. To spark us, Writers Group Leader Nana Ekua Brew-Hammond will guide us in reflecting on Apostle Paul's arc: from Saul trying to achieve righteousness through education, status and works (Acts 8:1-3, Acts 9:1-2) to Paul finding true righteousness in Love (Philippians 3:4-7; 1 Corinthians 13). Then, we'll break into smaller groups to share writing, discuss writing goals, encourage one another in writing and life, and pray.
